Mr. Peters is a 31-year career banker, having spent his entire career in the North San Diego County area. His most recent position was Executive Vice President for Temecula Valley Bank where he managed the bank's Escondido and North San Diego County markets. Prior to joining Temecula Valley Bank, Mr. Peters worked for Scripps Bank in Escondido for 6 years, for Rancho Santa Fe National Bank in Escondido for 5 years, and he is the former President and CEO of Hidden Valley National Bank in Escondido.
Mr. Peters is an active member of the Escondido Rotary Club, Escondido Chamber of Commerce, and has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Escondido Boys and Girls Club for over 20 years. He is currently a Director of First Night-Escondido, an alcohol-free New Years Eve Celebration in downtown Escondido. He has previously been involved in several local high school charity events taking on leadership roles in fund-raising efforts. He is a past-chairman of the Kash-for Kids charity golf tournament. He has been actively involved with Emmanuel Faith Community Church, serving on several committees.
Mr. Peters earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from San Diego State University in 1972. He also graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington in 1986.

Michael F. Murphy is the President and CEO of Computer Protection Technology, Inc. (CPT). Mr. Murphy is also the President and CEO of Diversified Service Products. Mr. Murphy has been a resident of Escondido since 1962, attending Orange Glen High School, Palomar College and San Diego State University.
He began his career in banking in 1974, working for Bank of America. He held various positions during his 8-year career at Bank of America. He subsequently was employed at Hidden Valley Bank as Executive Vice President from 1985-1990, at which time he took a position at Escondido National Bank as a Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. In 1992, Mr. Murphy purchased CPT and has been its President and CEO since that time. CPT is a sales and service company specializing in complete mission-critical power quality service, and provides uninterrupted power supply hardware. Customers are Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, hospitals, schools and colleges that maintain mid-range to large computer facilities.
Mr. Murphy is involved in the Boys and Girls Club of Escondido, local youth sports programs, and has been an active sponsor of a variety of charitable events in Escondido and Valley Center. Mr. Murphy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from San Diego State University in 1976.

Mr. Andrews currently serves as the President of the California Region of Capitol Bancorp Limited, and serves as a Director of Point Loma Community Bank, Sunrise Bank of San Diego, Bank of Santa Barbara, Bank of San Francisco and Napa Community Bank. His previous experiences cover twenty-nine years in the banking industry. He held the position of Executive Vice President for First National Bank of San Diego from June 2000 to September 2002, where he was responsible for management of ten branch locations, marketing, consumer lending, corporate properties, and the data and item processing operations of this $700 million dollar community bank. Prior to joining First National Bank, Mr. Andrews worked for First Interstate Bank for twenty years in a variety of positions primarily related to retail and small business banking. He worked for Wells Fargo Bank following the acquisition of First Interstate Bank for a period of three and a half years. At Wells Fargo, he managed a retail banking division of up to 200 branch locations.
Mr. Andrews holds a finance degree from San Diego State University and a graduate degree from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware.

Robert M. Cahan, Founder and President of Cahan Properties, Inc. has been in the retail shopping center development business for more than 23 years. Cahan Properties acquires and develops retail shopping center properties for major retail companies including Ralphs Grocery Company, Circuit City, Food-4-Less, Starbucks and Savon Drug Stores. As a development in the Los Angeles area, Mr. Cahan assisted in the development of more than 1,000,000 square feet of retail projects from 1986-1991.
Prior to 1986, Mr. Cahan was the Vice President of Operations and Treasurer/Director of San Val Development, a major Los Angeles area Commercialdevelopment firm. Mr. Cahan began his career with Wells Fargo's real estate lending group prior to embarking on his career in real estate development. Mr. Cahan achieved an AA Degree from Valley College in 1972.

Richard J. Fleck is the President of Southland Paving, Inc. Southland Paving is a large paving contractor specializing in road construction, grading, and underground utilities. Customers include municipalities, school districts and development companies throughout San Diego County. Mr. Fleck has been employed at Southland Paving since 1976 and has assumed duties of increasing responsibility over the past 27 years, becoming President in 1997. Mr. Fleck is a graduate of Escondido High School.

Marvin L. Gilbert is the President of North County Insurance, an independent general insurance agency, specializing in property, casualty, individual life insurance and group medical insurance. Mr. Gilbert has been in the insurance business for over 40 years. He began his insurance career with Aetna Insurance Company in San Diego in 1962. In 1970 he joined North County Insurance as an independent producer, became a partner a few years later, and subsequently purchased the business from his partners.
Mr. Gilbert is very active in the Escondido Community. He is a member of and also a past President and Treasurer of the Escondido Chamber of Commerce. He is past President and Treasurer of First Night Escondido and past President of the San Pasqual High School Athletic Booster Club. Mr. Gilbert is a member of the Escondido Kiwanis Club.
Mr. Gilbert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Insurance from San Diego State University in 1962.

L. Richard Greenstein, M.D. is the President and Owner of L. Richard Greenstein, M.D., Inc. Dr. Greenstein founded his company in 1978. He is an anesthesiologist, and has been practicing in the Escondido area for over twenty-five years. He was a Founder of, and has served as Medical Director of Escondido Surgery Center since 1986. He has been a Director of Anesthesia Consultants of California for many years, a Director of Emergency Medical Associates since 2002, and other Escondido-based medical groups since 1976. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Palomar Memorial Hospital. Dr. Greenstein is actively involved in the Rotary Club of Escondido, and is a founder of the California Center for the Arts in Escondido.
Dr. Greenstein earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1967. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1971. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Stanford University in 1975. Dr. Greenstein was appointed to the faculty of Stanford University School of Medicine in 1975. In 1976, he moved to Escondido to begin the private practice of medicine, and has remained in active practice since that time.

Mr. Guiles is the former acting Superintendent of the Escondido Elementary School District. He is a lifelong educator, having worked in Escondido public schools since 1967. He started as classroom teacher and became an Assistant Principal in 1969. Mr. Guiles has been the Principal of several Escondido area elementary schools from 1976-2000. He retired from the Escondido Elementary School District in 2001, and is currently an educational consultant, specializing in coaching and mentoring school administrators.
Mr. Guiles is active in the Escondido Rotary Club, Boys and Girls Club, was the past President of the School Administrators of Escondido, and the Association of California School Administrators. Mr. Guiles received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Arizona in 1965, and obtained his Masters Degree from San Diego University in 1972.

Mark E. Hayes is the owner of Mark E. Hayes CPA. He founded his own CPA practice in Escondido in 1987. Mr. Hayes specializes in accounting for individuals and small-to-medium sized businesses, including financial statement and tax return preparation. He provides financial and tax planning and advice for his clients.
Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Hayes worked as a CPA for the local Escondido CPA firm of Covell & Hugins. Mr. Hayes is involved in the Escondido Boys and Girls Club and regularly sponsors local community charity events. Mr. Hayes earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting from Michigan State University in 1979. He went on to earn his CPA license from the State of California in 1984, where he has been practicing since.

Dr. Meyer has been a sole practitioner in podiatric medicine since 1981. She is an active member of the orthopedic staff at Palomar Hospital and Escondido Surgery Center. She was on the board of the San Diego County Podiatric Medical Society for seven years, serving as treasurer for five years. She earned a bachelor's degree in medical technology from the University of Northern Iowa and her doctoral degree from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine.
